eid this year

We spent this years Eid at my parents home in Jogja. I loved the feeling being home with family, taking Fabian to do the Eid Prayer, plus the menu for our Eid breakfast couldn't be more tempting :) Eid Mubarok!

 

Our lengendary menu of Ketupat and Opor with Semur Daging, Sayur Nangka made by Mum, plus Moussaka and Roti Cane made by myself. Even Toula (the cat) sat at the table waiting for her turn to dine. 

happy (late) new year 2011

 

 This is a picture of the fireworks we took from the rooftop where we spent our new years eve. So you see, I didn't quite catch the works but instead I think this picture shows how my 2010 went - like the speed of light. Dead fast! Many happy moments and dreams came true for my family last year and am hoping many more goals to come true in 2011. I wish everyone the very best for 2011. Hugs and kisses.

It's going to be a better year with better things coming around! 


I just got back home a few days ago from a long sleep over at a cousins house - with no internet connection. Boo. We spent new years eve having a barbeque and just a teensy bit of red wine ;) Though I slept just before the countdown and the fireworks, having put the baby to sleep, I  did wake up in the new year with great thoughts and optimism:)
