trick or treat!

Yesterday two munchkins got dressed up....for like 10 minutes. They attemped to go Halloween style as Steve Jobs and a wild mushroom. Looking at the results always crack me up. It was a fun dress up! And here's more photos just for fun.

COSTUMES

meet mikaela

Our newest member of the family. We welcomed a healthy baby girl last November and named her Mikaela. She weighed 2,7 kilos and measured 48cm at birth. She is everything we imagined. Now at 1 month, she's already cooing and starting to smile in response to us. It's a whole new experience again, like I almost forgot how it is having a baby. I and husband and Fabian are thrilled to have her and can't get enough of her. Grow happy, healthy, and wise, Mikaela. We love you!

hello, i'm still here!

Alive and breathing. So it's obvious I've been blog blocked for months now but finally back to blog land. Reaching the end of this year, many things have happened since my last post (including welcoming that cutie in my left arm) and I have many posts on hold at the back of my head.

Meanwhile, I want to shout out a Happy Mothers Day, as it is here in Indonesia, to all you awesome moms out there. I myself couldn't be happier to be the mother of these two darlings of mine.

www.smolies.com

I'm blaming this for the lack of posts (my bad!) :p To make a long story short, I have made my mind up and am now running my online shop www.smolies.com , an online shop for baby and kids apparel. So other than writing, I'm also selling branded clothes, from bodysuits, tops and bottoms, to shoes, socks, and other cute stuff for babies, girls and boys. Therefore, the last two months I have been doing a whole lot of research, collecting products, dealing with wholesale dealers, photograping the products, editing the pictures, uploading them, and getting the online shop spick and span ready to run. The last bit I got a lot of help from the husband (thankgod).  I would have never knew how an online shop works and that they are that sophisticated. A lot to learn but do-able. And because what I'm selling are cute kids stuff, it doubles the fun. Last week, I launched smolies.com through its fanpage here and twitter account here. To suit its tagline, hopefully it shall be a little place for cute goods, only for your smallies :)

Below is a capture of www.smolies.com homepage. Come take a look and shop if you must ;)

flintstone fever

I remember being a loyal viewer of this cartoon series. When I was a child, I always pretended to be Betty Rubble because of the dark hair and the bob haircut she had, which was like mine then. Anyway, being a fan of the characters, I came across a baby bodysuit with a picture of Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm on it. It was simple and cute, so I had to buy it. I then gave it to my sister as a present for her new born. Two and a half years later, what dya know... the bodysuit now has been handed down to Fabian. Ha..ha.. it's still in good shape and color as when I bought it. Now, this isn't gonna be a 'hit' or 'miss' review. They both look cute is this piece :)

the SAHM dream

I just resigned from a childhood dream as an editor at a magazine to pursue another dream - to be a SAHM (Stay-At-Home-Mom) to Fabian, my little man. For almost the past month and a half everyday now, I have been spending 12 hours out of the house away from him, struggling to juggle the 9 to 5 work routine. And I don't think I can do that anymore. People might say it's a new-mum syndrome thingy, but I'm truly sure this is what I want. And of course what we want will make us happy, right?

This is how Fabian likes to be held lately, especially when he's sleepy. Weird but cute.
